The speed of results is similar, and while the duration of effect varies depending on individual constitution, lifestyle habits, and treatment area, imported Botox generally tends to last slightly longer overall. The most significant difference is the potential for antibody resistance to develop. Domestic Botox may retain more protein impurities during purification, which can lead to resistance with repeated treatments, whereas imported brands like Xeomin contain pure toxin, making antibody formation less likely. If you notice diminished results or shorter duration of effect, we recommend Xeomin treatment to reduce resistance.

While deeper wrinkles may require additional filler treatment, Botox itself is primarily designed to alleviate expression wrinkles, so we cannot say it is ineffective. For areas with frequent facial movement such as the glabella and forehead, it is also worthwhile to first try products such as Allergan or Xeomin and compare their effectiveness and longevity. If you plan to receive treatments consistently on a regular basis, we recommend Xeomin.

In fact, it may be even better for acne-prone skin as it suppresses sebum production. However, if acne is severely aggravated, any procedure may cause further irritation, so it is best to wait until the skin settles before treatment.

Double chin has various causes. If it is caused by reduced skin elasticity, some improvement may be seen, but for double chin caused by fat layer weight, it must be treated together with fat-dissolving injections.

Treatment is performed by area, including expression wrinkle areas such as the forehead, glabella, and around the eyes, the square jaw (masseter), the superficial skin layer (skin Botox), and Edition Seoul Lifting, which treats the entire face and neckline together. Dosage and injection points are designed differently for each area.

We first check whether the dosage was insufficient, the interval was too short, or the condition of the muscle has changed. If you tell us which products you have received, how much, and how often, we will set up a new plan accordingly.

We usually recommend repeating the treatment every 3–6 months. However, this varies depending on the area, dose, and how you use your muscles, so the next session is decided during a consultation after checking your progress.

Even if the effect has faded, we do not recommend repeating it at intervals that are too short. It is safer to set the cycle by looking at the recommended interval for each area together with your treatment history.

Because the result depends on which muscles are injected and how much is used, we first check your facial expression habits and the degree of muscle development, then design the treatment area by area. Even so, asymmetry or an unnatural look may rarely occur, so we monitor your progress and make touch-ups if needed.

It is injected into the masseter, the chewing muscle, to suppress muscle contraction and reduce volume. Because it acts on the muscle rather than shaving bone, its effect depends on whether the square jaw is caused by muscle development or bone structure.

The dosage and injection points are designed according to the degree of muscle development. Some people feel a change in chewing strength at first, but this varies from person to person; if you experience discomfort, let us know at your follow-up visit and we will reflect it in the design of the next session.

Wrinkle Botox is injected into the muscles that create facial expressions to soften wrinkles, while skin Botox is injected in tiny, divided amounts into the superficial skin layer to address pores and skin texture. They target different layers and serve different purposes.

Do not rub or massage the treated area excessively, and avoid saunas and alcohol. You can return to daily life right after the procedure, and temporary redness, swelling, or bruising usually subsides within a few days.
