Frequently Asked Questions
Is PRP safe?
Yes, PRP uses ingredients extracted from the patient's own blood, so allergy and foreign body reaction risks are extremely low. It has been safely used worldwide for a long time.
Can I receive PRP for face and scalp simultaneously?
Yes, simultaneous treatment is possible. Blood collection volume can be adjusted for both face and scalp, with details provided during consultation.
What effects does stem cell injection have?
High-concentration growth factors from stem cells powerfully promote skin cell regeneration and recovery. Comprehensive anti-aging effects including skin elasticity, wrinkle improvement, and skin texture refinement can be expected.
How many sessions do I need?
PRP is recommended 3-5 sessions at 4-6 week intervals. Stem cell injection effects can be felt from one session, with maintenance sessions recommended every 6 months to 1 year.
What is the PRP process?
First, a small amount of blood is drawn and centrifuged to extract a platelet concentrate rich in growth factors. After anesthesia is applied, it is injected into the treatment area, and the treatment is finished with LED irradiation to promote regeneration.
How much blood is drawn?
The amount of blood drawn depends on whether only the face is treated or the scalp as well. Blood is drawn according to the treatment scope once it is decided, so we will explain at the consultation, and mild bruising may occur at the blood draw site.
Does it also help with hair loss or scalp concerns?
PRP is also performed on the scalp, with the aim of promoting scalp regeneration using growth factors from your own blood. Hair loss has many causes, and not every case can be resolved with this treatment alone, so we advise on the direction after checking your condition.
Can regenerative injections also help with recovery after surgery?
Some patients look for regenerative injections to support recovery after surgery. However, when to start depends on the surgical site and your progress, so please tell us what surgery you had and when, and we will decide on the timing together.
Can I get regenerative injections after a laser treatment?
They are sometimes combined to promote skin regeneration after laser treatment. However, the skin may be sensitive at that point and an interval may be needed, so if you tell us which treatment you had and when, we will advise you on the right timing.
What is the difference between regenerative injections and skin boosters?
The difference is that skin boosters deliver manufactured ingredients into the dermis, while PRP uses growth factors extracted from your own blood. Because it uses components from your own body, it is characterized by a low risk of allergic or foreign-body reactions.
Why is LED included?
This uses LED light to support skin regeneration and soothing while the injected growth factors are working. It is done as the final step of the treatment and also helps calm redness.
How should I care for my skin after the procedure?
Please do not rub the injected area hard, and pay attention to sun protection and moisturizing. Avoiding saunas, strenuous exercise, and alcohol on the day of treatment helps recovery.
I bruise easily. Will that be a problem?
Bruising may appear at both the injection site and the blood draw site and usually disappears within 5–7 days. If you bruise easily, we will adjust the timing so the treatment does not fall right before an important event.
Why are treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart?
This is because it takes about that long for growth factors to act and regenerate collagen. Checking your response to the previous session before proceeding with the next one also makes it easier to track your progress.
I'm worried about allergies. Will it be okay?
Because PRP re-injects components drawn from your own blood, the risk of a foreign-body reaction is extremely low. However, redness, swelling, and bruising from the injection itself may occur, so we check them as you recover.
Can it be combined with other procedures on the same day?
Because it is a regenerative treatment, it is sometimes combined with other treatments. However, whether to do them on the same day or space them apart depends on the burden on your skin and your recovery schedule, and is decided during consultation.
When will I start to feel the effects?
You begin to notice the regenerative effect around 5–7 days, when injection marks and bruising subside, and over 2–4 weeks elasticity and radiance improve through collagen regeneration. When and how much you notice it varies from person to person.
