Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between Double Tite and Ulthera?
Double Tite is effective for overall elasticity improvement by uniformly treating large areas, while Ulthera specializes in powerful lifting of specific areas through precision focusing. We recommend the appropriate treatment during consultation.
Can I feel the effects immediately after treatment?
You can feel immediate tightening effects right after treatment, with effects gradually maximizing over 2-3 months as collagen regeneration progresses.
Is the pain severe?
Topical anesthetic cream is applied, so most people are comfortable during the treatment. A slight stinging may be felt as the needle RF energy is delivered, but it is generally tolerable.
How many sessions are recommended?
You can feel effects from a single session, with more noticeable lifting effects expected after 3-5 repeated sessions. We recommend treatments at 3-4 week intervals.
Are there any post-treatment precautions?
Avoid hot saunas and intense exercise on the day of treatment, and apply sunscreen thoroughly. Regular cleansing and makeup are possible from the same day.
Is Double Tite ultrasound lifting or radiofrequency lifting?
Double Tite is a needle radiofrequency (RF) device. It differs from ultrasound-based lifting in the type of energy and how it is delivered, and it is designed to deliver radiofrequency to the dermis through needles while also infusing a skin booster solution.
How is doing radiofrequency and skin boosters together different from doing them separately?
Because the needles create channels in the dermis while delivering the solution at the same time, the solution does not stay on the surface but enters the targeted layer evenly. A defining feature of this method is that collagen regeneration stimulation and drug delivery take place in the same treatment.
How long does the procedure take?
The procedure itself usually takes 15 to 30 minutes, though this may vary if combined with a skin booster or if the neck is also treated. Including cleansing, numbing cream application, and post-procedure soothing care, you can expect about 1 to 1.5 hours.
Can it also be done on neck wrinkles?
The neck is sometimes treated together with the face, in which case the procedure time changes. Because the skin of the neck is thin, the energy settings are adjusted, so we confirm whether it is possible and the scope at the consultation.
Makeup settles into my fine lines. Can this help?
Makeup settling into fine lines is related to reduced skin elasticity and collagen. A combination that delivers radiofrequency energy to the dermis to stimulate collagen regeneration while skin boosters replenish moisture and elasticity is used for this concern. The degree of improvement varies from person to person.
Can Double Tite help with acne scars as well?
Double Tite stimulates the dermis with needles at two depths to promote collagen production while also infusing skin boosters. However, managing the skin barrier so that acne does not return is just as important as treating the scars, so we design the treatment to address both.
Which skin booster is best to combine it with?
Juvelook focuses on collagen regeneration and volume, Rejuran on skin regeneration and elasticity, and Rejuran HB on hydration and radiance. The combination depends on which concern bothers you most right now, so we decide together during consultation.
Can I get it during my lunch break and go straight back to work?
Because this is a non-incisional procedure, you can wash your face and wear makeup on the same day, and return to daily life is relatively quick. However, including preparation and soothing care, it takes about 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes, so please let us know your schedule in advance and we will book a time that works for you.
I have a wedding or event coming up. When is an experienced time to get it done?
Right after the procedure there is some redness and warmth, which usually subsides within the same day to 2 days. However, changes from collagen regeneration appear over 2 to 3 months, so if you tell us the date of your event, we will help you choose a time that leaves enough room.
My skin sagging isn't severe yet. Can I still get it?
Some people get it to maintain elasticity before sagging progresses much. However, whether this treatment is appropriate for your current condition or another method would be better is best judged by examining your skin in person, so we will advise you during consultation.
I had thread lifting. Can I have Double Tite?
After thread lifting, a period is needed for the threads to settle into the tissue and for the inflammatory response to subside. The interval varies with the type of thread and when the procedure was done, so please tell us when and which threads were placed, and we will let you know when treatment is possible.
Should I choose Double Tite or Potenza?
Both procedures combine needle radiofrequency with skin boosters, but Double Tite stimulates the dermis with needles at two depths, while Potenza focuses on drug delivery with its pumping tip. The choice depends on what your skin needs to address first, and is decided during the consultation.
