Frequently Asked Questions

Can I resume daily activities immediately after Potenza?

There may be slight redness immediately after treatment, but it usually subsides naturally within 1-3 days. Same-day cleansing and light makeup are possible.

What's the difference between Potenza and regular skin boosters?

Regular skin boosters inject into the skin surface with syringes, but Potenza delivers directly to the dermal layer through microneedles. RF energy simultaneously enables collagen remodeling for more powerful results.

How many sessions are needed to see results?

You can feel skin texture improvement from just one session. With 3-5 repeated sessions, more noticeable effects like pore reduction and elasticity improvement can be expected.

Is LDM + modeling mask necessary?

LDM uses ultrasound to help active ingredients penetrate, and the modeling pack helps soothe and hydrate after the procedure. It's not required, but doing them together supports better care, so we recommend it.

Which should I choose: JuveLook, Rejuran, or Rejuran HB?

JuveLook specializes in collagen regeneration and volume, Rejuran in skin regeneration and elasticity, and Rejuran HB in hydration and radiance. We recommend the optimal product for your skin during consultation.

Are there options other than laser for acne scars?

For acne scars, it is important to take an approach that stimulates collagen production so the scars fill in. Methods such as Potenza, which deliver radiofrequency directly into the dermis through needles, are used to address scars and pores together. The method differs depending on the condition of the scars and skin thickness, so we will advise you after checking at the consultation.

Can Potenza also improve enlarged pores?

Enlarged pores are related to loss of elasticity in the dermis, which is why microneedle RF, which induces collagen remodeling, is used for them. We advise that pore reduction can be expected with 3–5 repeated sessions, and the degree of improvement varies by individual.

How deep do the needles go?

Potenza delivers energy and medication through needles down to the dermis rather than the skin surface. The needle depth is set differently depending on the area, skin thickness, and the concern being addressed, so we confirm it during consultation before advising you.

What is the difference between Potenza and Double Tite?

Both procedures are similar in that they deliver radiofrequency to the dermis through needles and can infuse skin boosters at the same time. Potenza delivers the solution with less loss using its pumping tip, while Double Tite stimulates the dermis with needles at two depths. Which is right depends on your skin condition and is decided during the consultation.

How painful is the procedure?

Numbing ointment is applied for about 30 minutes before the procedure. You may feel a stinging sensation as the needles and radiofrequency are delivered, and since sensitivity to pain varies from person to person, we adjust while monitoring your response during the procedure.

I heard scabs form after the procedure. When do they fall off?

Tiny scabs form 1 to 3 days after the procedure and usually fall off naturally around day 5 to 7. Picking them off can lead to pigmentation or scarring, so leave them alone and apply sunscreen thoroughly.

I have an important event tomorrow. Can I get the treatment today?

On the day of the procedure there may be redness and tiny scabs, so if you have an important event coming up, it is best to allow some time. Recovery speed varies from person to person, so let us know your schedule and we will coordinate the timing with you.

My skin is thin and I have redness. Can I get Potenza?

We set the needle depth and energy differently depending on skin thickness and the degree of redness. Rather than avoiding it outright, it is more accurate to check your skin condition in person before judging whether it is possible and under what conditions, and we will advise you during consultation.

What should I look for when choosing where to get Potenza in Gangnam?

Even with the same device, results differ depending on how the needle depth, energy, and type of skin booster used alongside are designed. We recommend checking whether the clinic examines your skin in person before the treatment and continues to follow your progress afterward.

When can I wash my face and wear makeup after the procedure?

You can wash your face and wear light makeup on the same day. However, on the day of the treatment, avoid hot water and strong friction, and refrain from rubbing while cleansing as long as tiny scabs remain.

Can I receive it together with other procedures on the same day?

Potenza delivers skin boosters at the same time, so it is a combination treatment in itself, and LDM and a modeling pack are sometimes done on the same day. Combining it with other treatments is decided during consultation, considering the burden on your skin.

What interval should be kept between treatments?

We recommend an interval of 3–4 weeks. Collagen regeneration takes place 2–4 weeks after the treatment, so the next session is usually timed to follow that process, and the interval is adjusted according to how quickly your skin recovers.
